Editing in the Modern Age

Editing, when you think about it, is a lot like cooking.

With modern-era equipment and considerable levels of time and expense, the dishes served in Michelin-starred restaurants can be prepared in the average home by a skilled cooked. But when the need for a certain level of excellence arises, not everyone can muster the necessary time and expertise on their own.

So to is the case with editing, a craft that with the advent of affordable software is no longer an arcane science or the exclusive domain of "Hollywood" directors and editors. We believe anyone, with the necessary experience and patience, can learn to edit.

But sometimes when a tightly budgeted film project demands a skilled, reliable, experienced hand, it is better to rely on a specialist. You wouldn't trust just anyone off the street to come over and cut your hair, or make you dinner.

We'd like to think that, over the years, our satisfied and happy clients would trust us to cut their films.
